Intelligence Ignites the Journey, Collaboration Shapes the Future. Dingshengwei 2025 Salon Events: Chongqing(24th Stop) Concluded Successfully Sep 19, 2025

The 24th stop of Dingshengwei's 2025 thematic salon was successfully concluded in Chongqing, bringing together low-voltage engineering contractors from the local and surrounding areas for in-depth discussions on the development needs and engineering challenges of Chongqing's hotel industry. Mr. Han, General Manager of Dingshengwei, presented an integrated solution that provided clear insights for building smart hotels tailored to the unique characteristics of the mountainous city.

Chongqing's hotel industry has always carried distinct regional traits. As a popular tourist destination, the city boasts unique homestays built along mountain slopes with staggered layouts, as well as trendy hotels located in commercial hubs targeting younger demographics. Among the constant influx of tourists, young people make up a significant proportion, and they have higher expectations for personalized and smart accommodation experiences. At the same time, Chongqing’s mountainous terrain poses specific challenges for hotel construction—some buildings have complex layouts due to topographical constraints, making the deployment of traditional low-voltage systems more difficult. These characteristics ensured that the salon’s discussions were closely aligned with local needs from the very beginning.

Mr. Han immediately delved into the topic during his opening remarks. He noted that hotels in Chongqing must not only meet the personalized demands of young tourists but also adapt to the engineering challenges posed by the unique terrain. This requires low-voltage solutions to be not only flexible but also capable of integration.

Following this, Mr. Han introduced the core systems of the integrated solution, addressing the specific needs of Chongqing’s hotels. The smart guest control system, interactive TV system, telephone system, all-optical network system, and broadcast system—these essential subsystems for hotel operations are no longer isolated modules in Dingshengwei’s integrated solution but can be managed uniformly on a single platform. For engineering contractors, this integration significantly reduces the complexity of the deployment process, eliminating the need for repeated debugging to connect different systems and minimizing the coordination costs associated with running multiple systems in parallel.

Moreover, the integrated solution’s support for full-system customization aligns perfectly with the personalized needs of Chongqing’s hotels. Whether it’s a trendy hotel targeting young tourists looking to incorporate local cultural and tourism content into its interactive TV system, allowing guests to access travel guides for attractions like Hongya Cave and Liziba from their rooms, or a unique homestay wanting to integrate Bayu cultural elements into the smart guest control interface, enabling guests to experience local culture while adjusting lighting, Dingshengwei’s solution can be tailored to the hotel’s positioning and needs. Mr. Han emphasized that every hotel has its own unique characteristics and should not be forced into a one-size-fits-all template. Customization, he believes, is key to ensuring smart systems truly serve the differentiated competition strategies of hotels.

During the discussion session, the atmosphere grew even more lively. Engineering contractors raised issues they had encountered in their projects in Chongqing. One contractor mentioned that in a mountainous hotel project, the complex building structure led to uneven signal coverage for the traditional telephone and network systems, resulting in significant time spent on adjustments. Another contractor pointed out that hotels catering to younger demographics often require frequent updates to the content on their interactive TV systems, which can be costly to maintain with traditional systems.

In response to these issues, Mr. Han listened patiently and addressed each one. He explained how the all-optical network system in the integrated solution could optimize cable layouts to adapt to complex building structures. He also highlighted that the interactive TV system in the integrated solution supports flexible content updates, making it easier to meet hotels’ needs for personalized content adjustments. During the exchange, contractors also actively shared their experiences, such as which areas’ hotels require more emphasis on the convenience of guest control systems and in which scenarios the broadcast system’s linkage  functionality is most practical. These frontline suggestions were diligently noted by Mr. Han.

During the discussion, Mr. Han emphasized, "The issues everyone encounters in practical projects are important references for us to optimize our solutions. The ultimate goal of Dingshengwei’s integrated solution is to enable engineering contractors to execute projects more efficiently and to help hotel owners enhance operational efficiency through this system, achieving cost reduction and efficiency improvement for both parties. Therefore, we will carefully study every suggestion and continuously refine the system architecture."

This exchange, centered on the characteristics of Chongqing’s hotels, was devoid of flashy rhetoric but filled with pragmatic thinking. Through Mr. Han’s presentation, engineering contractors gained a clearer understanding of how the integrated solution can be adapted to local project needs. Meanwhile, Dingshengwei collected valuable frontline feedback through dialogues with contractors, providing practical insights for further optimizing the solution.

As the event drew to a close, Mr. Han stated, "Chongqing’s hotel industry has significant room for development and its own unique charm. Dingshengwei hopes to maintain ongoing communication with all our engineering contractor partners to make our solutions better aligned with the needs here. Together, we can create more suitable and efficient low-voltage systems for Chongqing’s hotels, ensuring that smart services not only meet tourists’ expectations but also create more value for engineering contractors and hotel owners."
